Somebody has been lazy...
*shrugs*
I pushed it too hard this weekend.
I made a cake for my cousin's son's 1st birthday...that meant baking Friday night, icing and decorating ALL day on Saturday, and then delivering the cake on Sunday.
It turned out really cute, but will probably be the last cake I make for a LONG time.
I have plenty on my mind, that hopefully will make it to the keyboard this week.
I promise to try...
I love the cake!! You are really gifted! Fran

Love the cake!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but I'm starting to get tired pretty easily these days.
Wow! Nice cake!
ReplyDeleteI love the whole "leaning over" cake look. My cousin owns a bakery and is very good at baking and decorating. She did a "leaning" over wedding cake and when she delivered it noticed that the whole wedding's theme was leaning over, even the tables, lol.

Love the cake. Care to share your techniques? Do you use fondant or something else?

Very cute cake! I'm planning on making DD's baptism cake, but I doubt it will look anything like that :-)
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about the diapers on my clothes line: Those are the bum genius 3.0....they're a pocket diaper with a microfiber insert....I absolutely LOVE Them!
Hope you are doing Ok. Don't overdo it! Will be interested to read when you get around to it :)
ReplyDeleteCute cake!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally know what you mean about overdoing it. I really have to be careful with what I do these days, because things that I used to be able to do with ease suddenly leave me tired. It's weird how it just hits you that your body will not let you do all the things you want to do, like you can clearly still walk just fine, but spending an hour walking around Targ.et is really too much. Sigh. I hear that it gets worse before it gets better!
What an adorable cake! I'm impressed with your talent.
