Come on weekend!

It seems funny to say I'm looking forward to the weekend, when I'm not currently working, but I really am!

M. still has to work on Saturdays, but he doesn't have to be in until the afternoon. I'm ready to enjoy a nice, relaxing morning with him and Miss O. and maybe some doughnuts! ;)

One of my close friends has offered to take some maternity pictures of me, along with M. and Miss O. I'm SO excited for Sunday. She's just starting out, but it will be totally free and I have some say in them! I already purchased some wooden blocks...I want to do a shot with just my belly and the blocks spelling out "twins". It'll be nice to have a family picture taken, too...it's been way too long since we've had one done.

Finally, I don't know how I missed it, but I just passed my 2nd blogiversary on June 6th! I'm SO thankful to each and everyone of you for your wonderful comments and tons of support you've given to me over the last 2 years. I really don't think I would have EVER been brave enough to give IVF a shot, without the support and experiences of the IF community.

If you've stuck around to make it through this random post, I'll reward you with a belly shot...it's a week late, but better late than never, right?

  4. Woohoo! 33 weeks!

That's exciting about the pictures! We're doing some of the babies, but I never made it with maternity pictures - professional anyway.

Enjoy this time with hubby and Miss O. :)

  7. Look at that awesome belly!!! That is so cool that you have a friend to take pics for you. It's the one thing I haven't done during this pregnancy that I really wanted to do (just *one* decent picture of me and H while I'm pregnant...). I thought I'd get my mom to take a few while she was here, but I haven't done it yet. Maybe if I can manage to get my lazy self up and take a shower today, I'll have her do it this afternoon. That is the problem with being the photo-person among my family/friends-- I'm never on the other side of the camera. Generally, this suits me just fine, but lately, it's kind of a pain for a control freak like me to get a decent shot with someone else doing the photography ("no, sweetheart, try taking the photo from a little further back. Um, try to get me sort of balanced within the frame. Try giving the auto-focus a chance to work. Nope, the color is wonky here. That one is just weird.", etc., etc., etc.). Sigh...

Mmm. Yeah, I just sent H out for some italian-style doughnuts and a breakfast sandwich from the italian deli down the street... YUM.

  8. Loving that belly! Free photos are the best. Our friend just took our photos for our adoption profile and did an awesome job! We took her out to dinner as a thank you. Can't wait to see your maternity photos.
