- Hi! This blog was started as an attempt at staying sane while going through secondary infertility. I have a wonderful husband, M. and a lovely daughter, Miss O. Over the past 4 years, we've suffered 3 miscarriages and 2 ectopic pregnancies trying to give Miss O. a sibling. After enduring an IVF cycle, we were blessed with the birth of our boy/girl twins in July of 2010!

Oh, and my betas were at 13 and 15 dpo (equivalent-- 8dp5dt/10dp5dt), and the numbers were 127 and 275. So theoretically, had I been tested two days later at the equivalent of 17dpo, my beta would only have been 550- and you know how mine turned out! I know betas don't always mean much-- your embryo could have implanted earlier, resulting in a higher HCG number-- but still. You transferred two, so with that beta, I'd consider thinking about the possibility of TWINS...
