I was hopeful that I would find some time to sit down and write out my thoughts...
I was obviously wrong.

This two and a half age exhausts me.
Physically and mentally.
Pretty Girl is very much an independent little girl.
Which is wonderful, until I need to get us out the door in less than 5 minutes. Then, watch out, the fight is on! Only she can put on her shoes, coat, etc...and no help is needed, Mommy!
Big Boy is a climber.
I don't even want to admit how many times I've found him mid-climb and had to take a deep breath and just take him down from where he shouldn't have been. The boy is SO silent, ninja-like, I suppose.
I remember this with Miss O., but there was only ONE of her.

Of course, now that I logged in and started a post, I can hear crying from the living room.
Nap time is over, so I'll leave you with some of my favorite pictures from Christmas Eve...
I am so very blessed, even when the days are hard!
The days are long but the years are short. I always say that. I also keep saying it will get better next year. Fingers crossed for that!!
ReplyDeleteYou are blessed!! And don't worry about blogging. I have learned to let that relax a little bit. There is so much going on and your children come first, of course.
Ha! I love this. It is amazing how drastically different days can be, and yet I am still surprised by them, LOL! The picture is great, your kids are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine having 2 @ this age! Addy is an absolute terror these days. My BFF has boy/girl twins same age so I am familiar w/what you're going through.
ReplyDeleteBe glad they nap :) C has stopped napping. The benefit to that is that she goes to bed way easier now instead of it being an hour long struggle :) The kids look great, we'll all be here :)
ReplyDeleteYour children are beautiful!! I love the pictures :-)
