I'm Back!

Whew! I feel like it's been forever since I had a chance to sit down and type a post out. I realize this is how I've started the last few posts, but it's the truth!

M. surprised me with a present last I.pod t.ouch! Woo-hoo! With it, I've managed to reduce my reader from over 500 unread posts to about 45. I'm almost caught up and feel like I'll be able to read and comment on a regular basis now. I've missed you all!

Last week, I took Miss O. and the babies up to my aunt's home for 4 days. It was nice to get away, even if all I did was feed babies. At least I had a change of scenery and a little help! The twins went on an AWFUL cluster feeding run that lasted 5 days. Yes, 5 days! For those 5 days, they ate on the hour, every hour for at least 3 to 5 hours at a time. I shed many tears, but I'm happy that it seems that they've calmed down for now.

School started for Miss O. today and the babies are 8 weeks's a big day around here! Hopefully, I can get pictures and posts about both up in a reasonable amount of time!

  1. big day for the babies! I can imagine it must be difficult at times and the tiredness doesn't help! Much love, Fran

  2. Happy day for all! Hope Miss O had a great first day of school!

  3. Aw, I hope Miss O has a great first day and that you and the babies settle into a nice routine :)

  4. Wow! I can't imagine how hard it must be to go through that many days like that. You are an awesome mother!!

Hope today goes well for everyone and I can't wait to see photos!!!

  5. Cluster feeding is HARD. And with twins, it's crazy-making. Hang in there! (I'd like to say it ends, but mine have been doing this for MONTHS now. Every couple of days it seems they have a run of every-hour-feeds. Ugh.)

Congrats to the babies on eight weeks!!

  6. WOW! Impressive. I thought cluster feeding was hard with one kid. You still sound like you are loving every minute of those babies and that is so great to hear. Yay for starting school. I wonder if she misses the babies when she is there? ;)
    Great to hear from you.

  7. I wanted to let you know how amazingly awesome I think you are for breastfeeding twins!! So happy to see you are doing well otherwise & glad you have found some time to post.

  8. You're doing awesome! Major kudos to you!
